Wine Vessel (Hu) (lid)
A bronze wine vessel with a flared mouth and a tall, tapering body, its surface covered in green patina with areas of exposed bronze. Below the body, a band of stylized taotie-like scroll motifs in low relief rests on a splayed foot.
Look closer: Exposed golden bronze patches on the body show where the green corrosion has flaked away.
