Bronze ritual wine vessel (jue) with three splayed legs, a long spout, and a taotie mask with spiral patterns on a green.

Wine vessel (Jue)

A bronze jue wine vessel stands on three tapering, splayed legs, with a long pointed spout at one side and a flared open rim above. The body is cast with a band of spiral and geometric patterns and a projecting animal-mask motif, and the surface shows a mottled green patina.

Look closer: A small figure in relief is visible on the inner side of the spout area near the handle-side stand.
