Woodcutter, hanging scroll by Katsushika Hokusai

A hanging scroll shows a woodcutter in green and brown robes, bent forward beside a bundle of firewood, with pale grey rocks and misty hills rising behind him. The ink and color painting on silk is mounted with patterned brocade borders and a red seal sits near the lower edge.
