Wooded Shoreline, Lake Millinocket, Maine
A loose graphite pencil sketch on off-white paper shows a wooded shoreline, with a dense group of conifers and shrubs at the water's edge left of center and tall, thin trees rising at the right. Faint shading gives the foliage volume, and a handwritten inscription reading "Millinocket" and "78" appears in the lower right.
