Courtesan and her attendant (kamuro), hanging scroll

A hanging scroll in color and ink on silk shows a tall woman in a dark brown robe with a patterned blue lining, standing beside a small attendant in a red floral kimono. The young figure kneels at her feet, and the pale ground and brocade mounts frame the figure.
