Yujo on Parade

A standing woman in an elaborate kimono fills this tall hanging scroll against a plain gold ground, holding a deep brown outer robe open to reveal striped red and white layers beneath. Her dark hair is swept up with ornaments, and a patterned brocade border frames the full-color painting on paper.
