A hooded, bearded figure in loose striped robes leans back against a rock while a small child in red clothing clings to his arm. A tall tree trunk rises at right, with bamboo and a flowering branch above. Ink and light color on paper, with soft grey wash and a few red seals in the corners.
Look closer: Red seal stamps and a column of signature characters sit at the lower right edge.
