Uma gravura em água-forte colorida à mão, em perspectiva linear, mostra um amplo bulevar ladeado de árvores que se afasta em direção a um portão distante, com edifícios clássicos de pedra dos dois lados. No primeiro plano, figuras vestidas de vermelho, azul e verde sentam-se, deitam-se ou se aglomeram junto a carroças e uma maca coberta.
