L'Italienne, mujer sentada de Vincent van Gogh, 1887

Una mujer sentada con pañuelo rojo en la cabeza, blusa blanca bordada y falda a rayas apoya las manos sobre una tela estampada de colores, frente a un fondo amarillo de pinceladas cortas. Una silla de madera asoma por el lado izquierdo, y una flor blanca yace en la parte inferior derecha de este óleo de 1887 con empaste grueso y visible.
