Uma gravura mostra uma mulher negra amarrada, quase nua exceto por um pano nos quadris, pendurada pelos pulsos erguidos de um galho sem folhas. Duas figuras pequenas à direita erguem os braços, e uma terceira está de pé à esquerda. As linhas finas de pontilhado dão à cena uma textura gravada e tonal.
