Uma gravura colorida à mão da história natural da Carolina, Flórida e Bahamas, de Mark Catesby, mostra um peixe redondo e pintado, semelhante a um baiacu, sob um ramo de folhas verdes, pequenos cachos de flores brancas e frutinhas em hastes avermelhadas. À esquerda, uma vagem verde de feijão e ramos de flores rosadas, com legendas em latim e o número da prancha T28 impresso nas margens.
