Ceremonial Situla of the 'Great Praised' Penmin showing Nut as a tree
A dark bronze situla, or ritual bucket, with a looped swing handle and a tapering body. The surface is engraved with rows of hieroglyphs near the rim, a tall plant-like figure, and small seated and standing figures lower down. The fine linework suggests a ritual vessel of the Ptolemaic period.
Look closer: Small standing and seated figures engraved near the base of the vessel.
