Userhat Kneeling Before Osiris and the Goddess of the West, Tomb of Us
A facsimile copy of a New Kingdom tomb scene shows a kneeling man with a striped wig and white kilt at left, offering before a seated Osiris in white, with a winged goddess of the West standing at right beside a tall lotus column and a table of offerings. Tempera on paper in red, blue, ochre and white outlines the figures and their hieroglyphic inscriptions.
Look closer: Vertical hieroglyphic inscription columns run down the right edge beside the goddess.
