Dark green schist statue of a man holding a small seated figure of Osiris against his chest.

Padiamunrenebwaset, son of Irethoreru, holding a seated statue of Osir

A dark green schist statue shows a man with a close-fitting headcloth, his arms bent to hold a small seated figure of Osiris against his chest. The stone is polished and smooth, and the tall crown and seated form of the god stand out clearly against the man's body.

Look closer: The rough, unpolished base of the statue at the bottom edge shows where it was set down.
